So just WHO ARE these people known as ‘Festival Sponsors?’ What is it that they do in Second Life? Why DO they support the GA Winter Festival? ALL good questions and the GA Publicity Lead, Othon Weiland set out this past week to gain insight into these questions and help us all get to know these ‘Sponsors’ better.
Today’s ‘Sponsor Spotlight’ shines on the Terra Lascivus Estate and owners Crito & Terry Galtier. Terra Lascivus Estate recently applied for membership in and were welcomed to the Gay Archipelago. OW: Can you tell me what your activities in Second Life are? And what is the fun of it?

The fun and excitement of running a gay male resort is in meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and sharing time with them. Many close relationships have already been created here and 
every day brings new faces into our lives. In SL, it’s all about the people and the exciting times we all spend together enjoying the endless opportunities SL provides.
OW: If a new SL member visiting your property and asks you what that Winter Festival is, what will be your answer? What do you think it is that will make him or her curious ?
Galtiers: We’ve been telling guys about winter fest and letting them know that it is one of SL’s biggest LGBT events. We’ve told them about the many vendors, events and the information available for the LGBT community. As a chance to experience our community in a big way, it’s a must see!
OW: Please look in your crystal ball and tell us what you think SL will be in a few years. What is needed or what new gadgets will be integrated? Or what will be outdated? Give it a try.
Galtiers: I think we’ll see advances in building techniques that will enhance the SL experience. Structures, clothing as well as avatar’s and their actions will transform creating a new age for SL which will draw more people. Hopefully the future will see more and more people from around the world attracted to SL so our community will grow creating more and more memorable relationships.
